Who Pays for All That Games?

As a general rule, I (blog members when they’re writing up reviews) pay for every game or gadgets we review. It’s important to us to do this so that we can further ensure our readers that our reviews are un-biased.

If our video games, game accessories, mobile apps or gadgets are ever complimentary or free, it will be noted in the resulting blog posts. However, I am 100% honest in my reviews, even if the games or gadgets was complimentary. 

If I didn’t like it, I’ll let you know neither I nor my editors and contributors are ever under any obligation to review mobile apps or games positively.

DON’T WORRY GAMER Blog accepts the following forms of compensation:

Because that video games or mobile apps usually isn’t free, we do accept compensation in the form of affiliate program advertising, sponsorships, and product sales.

Affiliate Programs and Display Advertising:

Some of the shopping links on http://dontworrygamer.blogspot.com are “referral links” that track the source of the purchase back to http://dontworrygamer.blogspot.com through an “affiliate program.” When you click on one of those links or buy something coming from the link, the Blog gets a small commission (usually a few cents) from the linked site for referring you.

This does not affect the price of the product or the price you pay. Also, the consumer’s purchases are confidential; I don’t know who has purchased items using my blog’s affiliate links or display advertisement.

Game Developer/ Publisher Sponsor Partnerships:

You won’t see a lot of advertising here on the DON’T WORRY GAMER Blog, but we may enter into relationships with sponsors whom we have sought out based on the high quality of their services and the synergy between their product and the focus of the DON’T WORRY GAMER Blog. 

Basically, if I find something I would want to know about as a gaming fan, then it’s something I want to tell my readers about. Sponsor partnerships may result in posts about video games- and gaming-related events and products that I have determined are high-quality enough to mention on the blog.

However, we are not compensated to provide a positive opinion on products, services, websites, and various other topics. The views and opinions expressed on this blog are purely those of the blog’s writers. 

If we claim or appear to be experts on a certain topic, product, or service area, we will only endorse products or services that we believe, based on our expertise, are worthy of such endorsement.
